Public Relations Specialist
Three to five year PR experience required. Must have strong background in media relations as well as excellent writing and organizational skills. Knowledge of non-profit associations, and the electrical/lighting and card manufacturing industries a plus. Staff Accountant /Assistant Controller
RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to CFO – direct access and interaction with CEO
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Billing – lead and manage process ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Monthly Closings – coordinate and post journal entries, reconciliation, actuals and forecast
- Financial Reporting – prepare monthly bank reconciliations, variance analysis and monthly metrics
- Working Capital – improve processes for cash flow through accounts payable, accounts receivable,
- Internal Reporting – support operating departments with data, analysis and metrics to improve results

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:

Billing Coordinator/Bookkeeper
The Billing Coordinator/Bookkeeper will be responsible for preparing accurate customer invoices, reconciling bank accounts and prepare various financial reports for multiple customers.. Should have a working knowledge of cash management principals and procedures. This person should be highly proficient in general ledgers and preparing financial statements.
The right candidate will have strong analytical skills as well as strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to multitask and prioritize. Must be highly detailed, organized and able to meet deadlines. Must have a customer service attitude and be able to work with multiple departments and levels of staff within and outside the company.
Computer knowledge as well as high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and preferred knowledge of Advantage billing system. Must be an expert in Peachtree and QuickBooks. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. A minimum of 3 years accounting experience with some background in B2B preferred.
Copywriter
The Copywriter will develop written content for external and internal branding, articles, business-to-business marketing material, websites and other mediums. The right candidate will develop original concepts as well as revamp existing product. This person will establish working relationship across multiple departments. He/she must be able to vary the tone of message and language to meet the needs of various clients.
Strong written communication is an absolute requirement. Computer knowledge as well as high proficiency in Microsoft products is a must. The right candidate should be highly organized. B2B experience preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. A portfolio of work and samples will be required.

The Account Executive (AE) will work as the liaison between the client and the creative team to ensure the client’s needs and goals are being met. The AE will manage pitches to multiple clients and the clients’ budgets. The AE must be well-organized, have the ability to prioritize, work and meet within strict deadlines and have the ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

Production Manager
The Production Manager (PM) is involved with the planning and coordination of the product process from pre-production to production. The PM makes sure that all jobs are produced efficiently, at the right cost and at the right level of quality. The PM will monitor the day-to-day process and adjust scheduling as necessary. The PM must be able to work across different departments and in a team environment. The PM is responsible for setting and meeting quality control standards. The PM makes sure the approval process flow is timely to meet deadlines.

Public Relations Coordinator
The Public Relations Coordinator will support CMA’s day-to-day client activity. The Coordinator will report to the Manager of Public Relations and be responsible for media research, developing media lists, assisting with the writing of publicity materials including press releases and media advisories, social media management and content development, and other general administrative duties.
One year minimum PR experience preferred. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Must have experience in social media, writing press releases and pitching the media. Bachelor’s degree required, with a preferred major in public relations, communications, or related field.
Web Programmer/Designer, Freelance and Full Time
Responsibilities/Abilities include producing website templates and pages using CSS, Server-Side. Includes, Microsoft .ASP code, develop in Flash, create web forms, and work with other standard web formats and file types. Uploading pages to our servers, and test sites in various browsers, as directed by our creative staff and project managers. (HTML), JavaScript, Action script, Cold Fusion, Java, Perl and Flash, or using code-generating programs, such as Dreamweaver. Knowledge of graphic design packages such as Fireworks and Photoshop in order to produce basic layout and manipulate images. Skills in cascading style sheets (CSS), e-commerce and server side technologies, such as PHP and Perl, and internet security are also important. Must be able to demonstrate solid experience with Dreamweaver, HTML/XHTML and CSS.
2+ Years Expertise in Web Programming and Interface Development. Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self starter and in a team-based environment. Education requirements include a successful graduate of professional specialized classes in many of the disciplines listed herein. College degree in this or related field preferred.

Creative Marketing Alliance accepts resumes for full time or part time interns to support activity within its art/design, marketing, public relations, association management and financial departments. Depending upon the area of concentration, the candidate will assist our staff in a support role and will be given opportunities to observe and participate in the day-to-day operation of a full service marketing and communications firm.
